Use of Cookies

  1. What Are Cookies

A cookie is a message downloaded to a web browser by a web server. The browser stores this message in a text file which is stored on your computer. This file may then be read by the server each time the browser requests a page to be downloaded. Cookies are not programs and therefore cannot contain viruses or other malicious software. They are purely a string of text and numbers.
There are two main types of cookies - session cookies and persistent cookies.
    1. Session cookies only last during a single visit. When a user closes their web browser the session cookie information is automatically removed from their computer.
    2. Persistent cookies are stored by the user's web browser even after the web browser has been closed. The next time a user goes back to the originating website the server can read back information from the cookie. Persistent cookies have an expiry date which controls when they are automatically deleted. This can be anything from a few minutes to several years.
  2. How are Cookies used on this site?

M-Tech Printers do not directly use any cookies on this website. We do however, like many other websites, use Google Analytics a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google").

Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf.
