1. Introduction

    As a small business acting as distributor for larger, global manufacturers, it is considered that full compliance with an international standard is not necessary at the organisation's current stage of it's development. It might even be argued that such compliance could be detrimental to growth given the relatively limited resources to implement and maintain such a system.
    However, the importance of a Quality Management System has been recognised and so a simplified, internal system has been developed for the benefit of customer assurance that high quality products and services are consistently delivered on time and at a competitive price.

  2. Quality Statement

    M-Tech Printers' quality policy is to achieve sustained, profitable growth by providing services which consistently satisfy or exceed the needs and expectations of its customers. This level of quality is achieved through adoption of a system of procedures that reflect the competence of the Organisation to existing and potential customers.
    The objectives of the Quality Management System are:
    1. To maintain an effective Quality Management System comparable to the International Standard ISO9001:2008 but without ISO certification and associated external audits.
    2. To achieve and maintain a level of quality which enhances the Organisation's reputation with customers.
    3. To ensure compliance with relevant statutory and safety requirements.
    4. To endeavour, at all times, to maximize customer satisfaction with the products and services supplied.

  3. Documentation & Records

    All documentation related to the management system itself, or to the execution of individual customer contracts is controlled to ensure that it is revised and reissued as necessary, and all obsolete versions are removed.
    Documentation includes:
    1. Quality Manual
    2. Test Procedures
    3. Product Test Results
    All controlled documents are stored as files on the computer system and listed in a separate register. Some of these documents may be released to specific customers upon request.
